Welcome to Bristol Amateur Operatic Society (BAOS), Bristol's premier theatrical society, the only organisation in Bristol to have performed in three different centuries, the 19th, 20th and 21st century, an achievement we are greatly proud of. We rehearse at the Newman Hall and St Ursula’s School, Westbury-on-Trym, where we have a busy yearly schedule with a Senior and Junior section.

Our Senior section, age rang 16 upwards, perform at least two shows a year, a Summer Show and a Main Production in the Spring. Our Junior Section (10 -18) perform two shows a year, as well as having work shops to improve their acting, singing and dancing skills. Their summer show is performed elsewhere in the City. We also have a packed social calendar which keeps us busy throughout the year.
