Why join BAOS?
BAOS has a long successful history full of a variety of musicals and revue shows and we are always looking for new talent to join us. We have two sections of BAOS, BAOS Seniors and BAOS Youth. You can find more information about the different memberships of BAOS and the benefits below.
BAOS prides itself that it isn't just an 'Am Dram' group that love performing but it's a friendly, social club with a packed full social calendar, with show visits, summer events, and an annual dinner dance, to name but a few.

Membership Options
Acting Memberships
Senior and Youth acting memberships is open to all those who wish to be on stage with BAOS.
In order to become an acting member of BAOS there is an application form to complete and an audition process. For our full Membership Policy and more information on the audition process, Click Here.
We audition for new members before starting rehearsals for each of the shows at The Redgrave Theatre. Please keep an eye on our homepage for when our next members auditions are.
Patron Memberships
If you do not wish to be on stage, but would like to access the benefits of being a member of BAOS we have a Patron membership which would be perfect for you.
This includes access to social events, discounts, early access to tickets, your very own evening pre show get together and be the first to know about opportunities to be involved in the club creatively.
Creative Teams - Directors, Choreographers and Musical Directors
With three shows a year we are always on the look out for new, enthusiastic Directors, Musical Directors and Choreographers. BAOS continue to go from strength to strength and that is thanks to the fantastic teams we have around a talented cast. We invite anyone who would like to direct, choreograph or MD for BAOS and who believes that they can bring out the best of our casts to get in touch. Volunteers
As well as on stage roles and patron memberships, we welcome people interested in musical theatre production including set design, costumes, props, make up and hair, backstage, lighting, sound, front of house support and many more.
BAOS can't run without the support of not just its members but all the volunteers that put themselves forward to help with the show. We have offered work experience placements for students interested in behind the scenes of theatre or for those wanting experience of theatre hair and makeup.
